This site offers many
links to sites about Buddhism as well as online dictionaries and fonts.
Bali and Beyond
Bali and Beyond, the
Web site, is the online companion to the performing arts company based
in Los Angeles whose work is inspired by the culture of Indonesia. The
site features a chat room "KeChat" and a kids section called "Fun &
Gamelan."
Dance Beijing
This is an interesting
site that deals with the history, practice and performance of Chinese Classical
Dance.
Iraq4U
Featuring music, videos,
poetry, and jokes, this site tries to bring Iraqi people together while
staying away from politics and religious conflict.
The Indonesian Nature Conservation
Database
This is a great site
that deals with nature conservation in Indonesia. This site is dedicated
to all protected areas of Indonesia. It not only describes the various
National Parks (Taman Nasional), but also the many Nature Reserves (Cagar
Alam), Game or Wildlife Reserves (Suaka Margasatwa), and several of the
many Recreation Parks (Taman Wisata) in Indonesia.

This site is designed
to provide information on the recent history of Cambodia, particulary the
Khmer Rouge period. This includes not only materials pertaining to Cambodia,
but information relating to Cambodian refugees and immigrants abroad, as
well. If a student had to write a report on Cambodia this would be an ideal
site to research.
An Introduction to Indonesia
Learn about the people,
culture, geography, and islands of this great country. Includes information
on Sumatra, Bali, Java, and Indonesia's many National Parks. This is a
great site if a student needs to do a report or paper!
The Almaty Herald
Great for geography
research projects for high school students, this online newspaper has up
to date information on Kazakhstan and Central Asia. It mostly focuses on
economics and has a section called "Oil Watch." The navigation is not great
but the site
serves as a good resource
for news from the region itself.
Government of Uzbekistan
This site is packed
with current and historical information about Uzbekistan. Features include
a biography of the president.
PHILIPPINES - A Country Study
This is the best site
of the Phillipines available. It is a government site of the Library of
Congress contains a lot of hard data, history, and information.
Malaysia
This is an excellent
site about the history, geograpy, etc. of Malaysia.
