Technical Drawing 1, 2, 3, & 4

Students will learn the basic language of drafting by completing a series of drawings and projects.  They will be able to visualize objects in three dimensions, read blueprints, prepare working drawings, think through problems, draw clearly and accurately, and obtain substantial practice in engineering drafting techniques.  At level II, they will apply more advanced concepts such as multiview projection, developments, pictorials, auxiliary views, and sectioning.  Levels III and IV emphasize problem solving, design, and individual student interests.

Courses must be taken in sequence.

Prerequisites for Technical Drawing III:  Technical Drawing II or Technical Drawing I

Successful completion of Technical Drawing I, II, III and/or IV will provide one credit of the Advanced Technology Education Requirement for each course.
