Volunteering

The BHS PTSA and BHS administration encourages parents and other community
members to volunteer in and around the school.  If you'd like to help out,
please contact the PTSA at BHSPTSA@adelphia.net, or fill out the volunteer
form and either drop it off at the school (PTSA mailbox) or email it to
BHSPTSA@adelphia.net and we'll get in touch with you about volunteer
opportunities.

Be sure to track your hours on the volunteer log. Just print out the log and
write down the number of hours you volunteer each day - you don't have to
indicate anything specific.  Your volunteer hours should include all BHS
volunteering including in-school volunteering, band boosters, athletic
boosters, drama boosters, chaperoning, meetings, etc.  Turn in all volunteer
hours at the end of April to Jill Wilton in the Guidance office.

  • We need a few volunteers to oversee the registration desk for conference sign-ups on Monday October 1 between the hours of 3 pm and 7pm (1-2 hour shift).  Let me know if you’re available.

  • Remember that as we start the new school year to record your volunteer hours.  At the end of the year you should send the total volunteer hours for any BHS time to Jill Wilton at Jill.Wilton@fcps.org. Remember to include ALL your BHS volunteer hours… anything that was volunteering for BHS counts – PTSA, band, drama, sports, classroom, office, etc…
